Naveen K. Jain is an entrepreneur and software executive. Naveen founded InfoSpace in March 1996 and was its Chief Executive Officer until 2002.

His latest venture, founded in 2003 is Intelius, a people search and background checker site.[1]

He left Infospace at the board's request[2][3] in December 2002 amid accusations of dubious deals, insider trading and troublesome accounting.[4][3] Naveen Jain resides in Bellevue, Washington with his wife and 3 children.[5].


During a stint at Microsoft working on MSN, computer magazine InfoWorld proclaimed him "smarter than Bill Gates".[6]
