YellowPages.com

Hi...

A guy by the name of Ronald Oister is trying to change history by claiming to be the founder of YellowPages.com, which is not the case. Why he is doing it? I dont know. Maybe he is trying to look cool in front of his girlfriend, maybe he is trying to raise money, who knows. Whatever the case is, a private hedge fund that backed a group of college students founded it and Ronald Oister and his crew were not a part of that. I keep deleting his name and instead putting "a private investor" and but he keeps inserting his name in there and we got into a edit war.

I think that Wikipedia should either spend some money and verify the origins of YellowPages.com, in which I can help, or leave all names out of the history and simply make the history of YellowPages.com just that, HISTORY without crediting anyones name.

Wikipedia and the history of yellowpages.com

I have been informed that the history of YellowPages.com is being altered. I am one of the founding members that funded the purchase of YellowPages.com on behalf of multiple entrepreneurs. I have never heard of Ronald Oister. Either the truth must be promoted or no personal names can appear. A person should not be able to alter history with the stroke of a mouse.

Revert?

I just wanted to let you know that this wasn't simple vandalism. I do have problems with the user, and am trying to handle this particular article through AfD. I don't see a particular reason to prevent the user from making changes to the page while it is at AfD, except that it may slightly weaken the case against deletion.
