Jt Ervin (born Jeremy Travis Ervin on December 5, 1992) is an aspiring actor, singer, writer, fashion designer and producer. "I want to do everything. Take over the world" he said. Staring out in acting originally, he said "I wanted to act first. But I found out that I had other talents, so why waste them? I want to make an impact on the whole entertaintment industry." He is also a member of the teen hip-hop/pop group JRJ with fellow best friends Joshlynn Suber and Rachel Walton.
Jt Ervin, born Jeremy Travis Ervin on December 5, 1992, is not your average teenager. "I want to do everything. Sing, write, act, design...everything". A self procalimed "workaholic" Jt says he won't let anything get in his way. "I've wanted to be in the entertainment industry since I was little. I used to pretend I was in TV shows and movies all the time. I would sing and dance around the house too." he says. At the age of 6 Jt started taking singing lessons once a week and was awarded best voice in the class that same year. He continued with voice lessons until the age of 12, when he auditoned for the school choir and was told he "wasn't good enough". But that just made him push himself harder. "I was shy and that was a setback for me. You can't really be shy in this industry. My mom and dad really just wanted me to be a normal kid even though they knew I wanted to work, and eventually we started getting calls and emails from agents and record producers and labels. I think it surprised her a little, becuase I was doing all this stuff and hadn't really told her."

When he turned 9 Jt auditioned for the school play but was insted put on the crew. "It was fun. I was in charge of make-up and costumes with the adult supervisor. I liked it, but I really wanted to be on stage and not backstage." Then, at 11 Jt won the lead in the school's play and for all three performaces the seats were filled. "I dont know if they came to see me in the lead, or just their kids in the background. Either way it was still amazing." However, that amazing feeling wouldn't last forever. "When I got to middle school, I was told I wasn't good enough for the choir and there was no drama club. And without anyting like that, I really needed another way to express my creativity." That's when the songwriting began. Jt describes the process as "I would hear a beat in my head and just start making up words to go along with it". Although he says the songs were "corny" and "childish" he still stayed with the songwriting. "I really want to sing and write my own material. You have a connection with your music if you wrote it and people can tell."
==Early Life==

Raised in Columbus, Ohio Jt still currently resides there although he still "want[s] to move to LA". Very close with family always he says "family comes first. I mean there's just no question." His mother and father divorced in 2002 and Jt moved in with his mother. "I feel so blessed that they did divorce. They make much better friends and it's a better home life for me". He attended Cedarwood Elementary school and Buckeye Middle school and will attended Eastmoor Academy in the fall of 2007.
But singing and acting aren't the only thing this talented teen wants to do. "When I was little, I would take a shirt and cut it up and then layer it with another shirt and everybody would always like my clothes. Then I just drawing it out and it became another carrer goal." he says, "I want to call it Carnival'". Jt would also like to add author to his carrer goal list. "I was always told I had in talent in writing, so I really want to do a book for teens. I love writing comedy things and I just think that the teen genre fits me, becuase I'll know what I'm writing about."

Jt also says he wants to start a baby clothing line and a clothing line for children in addition to his teen clothing line. "I want to make baby clothes. I love babies and I love their clothes, but I have such good ideas its crazy. If your baby wears my designs, they'll be in the best dressed baby on the block!" he says with a laugh.

The firey Native American/Caucasian mix says he won't let anything stand in his way of acheving his dream. "You'll always have haters, people who don't want you to reach your goal, but you can't let them get to you. You just have to blow everybody off and say to yourself, 'If I want my dream to be a reality, then nobody else can matter. It has to be about ME.' Otherwise, people will get to you, you'll get your feelings hurt and give up on your dream."

Jt was formally a member of the teen hip-rop/R&B/pop group JRJ with his two friends Joshlynn Suber and Rachel Walton until the band broke up in August 2007. They were famously known for their single "This Is Why I'm Fat" a parody song of "This Is Why I'm Hot". Jt says "It was nothing personal. But being in a band and trying to work on a solo singing, acting and designing and writing carrer was too much work." He also said that the other members, although they remain his friends "just didn't have the drive that I did". He also says that all members stay supportive of each other's solo efforts.

In 2007, Jt was featured on the cover of the indie online magazine "With The Band" for the month of October. The "E-Zine" also ran an exclusive interview with Jt in the issue. This was Jt's first magazine interview as well as first cover story. Jt says with a laugh, "It was so cool to be on the cover of a magazine! Hopefully, that'll happen again!"
