I've been told by a few people in various places that they're upset over my retirement, so I feel an explanation is due. Given stress and issues both related and unrelated to Wikipedia, I simply feel that now's the time to retire. It's been fun, but it's also been too stressful, and given my [[Coeliac disease|condition]], I can't afford too much of that. I may come back, but that chance is fairly slim, and it won't happen for quite a while, and it won't be as an admin. Also, to set the record straight - it was not intimidation or anxiety that led me to retire. I had been considering this for a while, at least since January, hence the downturn in my activity since then.

Technically I retired yesterday, but making my last edit on the last day of the month seems more appropriate. :P

Retired
This user is no longer active on Wikipedia.

I still plan to attend the DC wikimeetup, but it will be the last one I attend.

I've been told by a few people in various places that they're upset over my retirement, so I feel an explanation is due. Given stress and issues both related and unrelated to Wikipedia, I simply feel that now's the time to retire. It's been fun, but it's also been too stressful, and given my condition, I can't afford too much of that.
