Hi, with regard to the two papers that stress that the generally accepted solution 'assumes information that is not given in the problem.',
I tried to show here that to answer the question whether the probability increases, and whether it is worthwhile to switch, there is no need to assume infromation that is not given. I have shown that for any host's protocol under the rules of the game, it is optimal to switch. Rick Block keeps deleting what I write, unfortunately. First, he demanded a reference. I gave the Morgan et al. paper as reference for all of this. Now he argues about laypersons.
