Aaron Michael Sidwell (born 12 September 1988 in Maidstone, Kent)[1]) is a British actor, who currently plays Steven Beale in the British soap opera EastEnders. He made his first appearance on 21 September 2007.[2] Sidwell took over the role from Edward Savage who last appeared in 2002.
EastEnders is Sidwell's first television acting role, but he has done a lot of stage work prior to his work on the soap.
He grew up in the village of Kingswood, Kent, and was given a drama scholarship when he was eleven years old.[3] He is lead singer in a metal band called Bitter Conflict.[4]
