Background Information
![]() | This article contains a list of miscellaneous information. (December 2007) |
- "The Gorn Hegemony" is mentioned by Harrad-Sar, the Orion ship captain. This is the first mention of the Gorn on Enterprise.
- This episode reveals a secret about Orion females: while they are often viewed as "slave girls", they are actually in ultimate control in Orion society, as they use their pheromones to influence their males.
- At the start of the episode, Archer states in his log that the ship is en route to the Berengaria system. Later in the episode, we find that one of the Orion females is called Navaar. The two names are actually connected - Berengaria of Navarre was the Queen Consort of Richard Lionheart, whom she married in 1191.
