Per item 7 of Wikipedia:Non-free_content#Images_2, a football card should not be used to illustrate an article about a football player unless the card is notable and discussed in the article Bigr Tex 02:36, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: The purpose is to identify and illustrate the subject of the article to the reader. It is a low quality scan of a 45-year-old trading card and and of such a size and quality to be of no commercial use and not impact the copyright-holder's ability to use the original work for profit.
