'''Sýn 2''' is an [[List of Icelandic television channels|Icelandic sports channel]] that shows [[Association football|football]] games from the [[Premier League]] and the [[Football League Championship]] in Iceland. It is the only channel in [[Iceland]] that has the right to show English League games. Sýn 2 was created ahead of the 2006/07 Football season as the first purely [[english football]] station in Iceland. Its sister channel, [[Sýn]] used to show English League games before Sýn 2 was formed. Because many games in the English League start at the same time, Sýn 2 also shows games on Sýn extra 1, Sýn extra 2, Sýn extra 3, and Sýn extra 4. |
