-Being here a long time does not mean he is aware of policy as well as you are, which makes him more of a newbie. I did assume good faith: my manner was polite, and not hostile. I understand that you're trying to do what's best, but if you act hostile towards someone, they'll leave, or act hostile in return. If you do the opposite, the opposite will occur.
