The website http://www.populardata.com has been a part of the "Zip Code" Wikipedia article for quite some time. I am well aware that Wikipedia uses noindex, nofollow tags, etc. The site is FREE, open source, and has been published in several books. It was one of the first sites on the internet (if not thee first) to offer a FREE zip code database for anyone to download and tinker with.

In summary, the addition of the populardata.com link to the zip code article IS very relevant as I do not see any other link providing a free zip code database anywhere. Oh, and please don't try and count the US Census data... its old and incomplete... as anyone who has tried to use it will tell you. ;-)

Thank you for your consideration.

A quick search on Google will reveal that the original zip code database was hosted (for free) by the good people at CFDynamics. When the site became a popular place for programmers, etc and started to be published in blogs, magazine articles, and books... we went out and registered a domain name for it.
