I appreciate your new article on the Brush Run Church. I note that you write it from a Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Point of View (POV). As the article gets linked to other pages, we can expect some edits from the Churches of Christ and the Independent Christian Churches who share the same heritage, but see it from a little different POV, with an emphasis on the Restoration Movement. The goal for any wikipedia Article is a Neutral Point of View (NPOV). I look forward to watching how the article develops. Feel free to reply by editing this talk page. BTW, I am a fifth generation Disciple. John Park (talk) 14:55, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Hi, John

I am a retired DofC minister, but have links to the independent CC's as well. My late father, W. L. Thompson, moved freely back and forth and into the Churches of Christ, as well. I am a member of Cherry Log CC, where Dr. Fred Craddock also belongs. I started this Wiki at the request of Dr. Hal Doster, who plans to add some primary source information that he has in his possession. I am a 5th generation Disciple as well. -- William L. Welcome to wikipedia!
