Brooklawn Middle School is a middle school located in Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey, and is part of the Parsippany-Troy Hills School District. Brooklawn has a population of over 900 students in grades 6, 7, and 8. Its faculty includes over 100 teachers and other educational professionals. Built in 1965, Brooklawn serves the western portion of Parsippany, with most of its students attending Parsippany Hills High School after completing eighth grade. The school is currently being expanded to include a new wing.

As of the 2005-06 school year, the school had an enrollment of 873 students and 80.9 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student-teacher ratio of 10.8.[1]

The Brooklawn softball team placed first in the GMCJSCA 2005 and 2006 tournaments, came in second place in 2007, and placed first in 2008.

Student Council

The Brooklawn Student Council is active in the New Jersey Association of Student Councils (NJASC), and has won awards at both the state and national level. It was recognized in 2006 as a Gold Council of Excellence by the National Association of Student Councils (NASC) for excellence in local, state, and national activities.
