The Turku City Library is a municipal library service in Turku, Finland which includes 14 branch libraries and the Main Library of Turku which is located in the city centre of Turku and is combination of new building (built in 2007) and an old city library (built in 1903). Old library building is currently under renovation and will be opened again in autumn 2008[1]. Before new library was opened the amount of annual visitors in all libraries was about two millions with three million loans.
