sandbox Template:Rake African Mirror was a series of newsreels which played at all cinemas before the main movie, in the days before TV took over the task of providing the public with news broadcasts. They dealt with all manner of news, not only African, and are presently stored in the National Archives in Pretoria in 25mm reels. Requests for specific editions are made to Trevor Moses at trevormoses@hotmail.com, who will then pull out the relevant reels for your personal viewing. Conversion to digital form is handled by the National Archives who send it to digitalised at cost to the client (usually very expensive). The copy is then sent to the client on payment.
