SMS Von der Tann was the first battlecruiser built for the German Kaiserliche Marine. Built by Blohm & Voss Hamburg She was present at the battle of Jutland where she sank HMS Indefatigable, but was hit by four heavy shells. Casualties 11 dead and 35 wounded.
