Sadak Arjuni is a town , a tehsil and a municipal council in Gondia district in the state of Maharashtra, India.

Geography

Sadak Arjuni is located at 21°36′N 80°54′E / 21.6°N 80.9°E / 21.6; 80.9[1]. It has an average elevation of 256 metres (843 feet).

It is located near the Maharashtra-Chhatisgarh border on Hajira-Kolkata National Highway 6.

This is the newest tehsil in newly created Gondia district. Located 2 Kms off Nagpur Kolkata National Highway # 6. This the small but very important town in that part of the state. Was among noted educational centre with a high scool and college since India's independence. It is a house to many freedom fighters.

The place is sorrounded by the noted national parks of Navegaon bandh and Nagzira. Because of the forests there are lots of rainfall during the season and hence Paddy is the major crop cultivated here. The best quality rice is grown thi this part of the state. In addition to the same it is a major centre for "tendupatta" a leaf used in making bidi". This is among the major cattle markets in the district.
