Footballfan190 (talk · contribs) - Hello Wikipedia, I am Footballfan190. I became a registered user on December 6, 2007 and have been a good faith editor. This is my 5th requests and not backing down. No, this is not in rapid order and is not too soon (it is just that my past RFA with 1800 edits was rudely closed down and not given a chance). There are editors who's RFAs have passed with 8 months of experience and between 2,000 and 3,000 edits. There are current admins who have not reached 10,000 edits yet. One editor I can name that had almost 8 months of experience was Bearian. I know how to help out the community. I am not withdrawing this candidacy. With almost 8 months experience and over 2,200 edits, that should qualify. I am making a promise that by the time this nominating process is over, I will have reached at least 2,600 edits.

My interests are in animals and in Politics. Much of my edits go to articles with those subjects. One thing I often do is edit previews. It is a good idea to look at previews before you make an edit so you know just what you are looking at.

As for adminship work, I will work on anything I am called for. Blocking, protection, an all of that stuff. If this site is looking for another admin who can agressively deal with vandals, then that is me. I have reverted edits and left warnings on talk pages. Another thing that I have done is report users who have vandalized after having a final warning. As for personal attacks, zero tolerence. I have a zero tolerence policy for personal attacks. For the first block and if it comes from a personal attack, it will last between 1 and 3 days.

Questions for the candidate

Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. It is recommended that you answer these optional questions to provide guidance for participants:

1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?
A: I want to take work in dealing with vandals. You can count on me to deal with them. You need an administrator like me to deal with vandalism. I know the warning procedure, and will use best judgement in how long to make a block. I also will protect pages.
2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
A: My best contributions are reverts of vandalism because I like helping the community.
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
A: A user called edits of mine pointless. I ignored him instead of sparking an edit war. In the future as an admin, I will come down on editors, tell them to stop and if they violate the 3 revert rule, then I will administer a block.

Oppose
  1. Oppose - Way too soon since last RfA. I don't see the improvements necessary to trust you with the tools. Wisdom89 (T / C) 07:26, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
