Andreas Berger. (b. June 9, 1961; Gmunden) is a former Austrian sprinter who ran in the 100m and 200m. His biggest success came in 1989 when he won the European Indoor Championship's 60 meter dash. In 1987 and 1989 he reached the semi-finals (outdoors) and 1989 (indoors). Participated in the 1988 Olympics (placed 17th in the 100m and 33th in the 200m). Caused two false starts during a 100 meter qualifyer at the 1992 Olympics and was disqualified. Still holds the Austrian 100m dash record (10.15s, 1988).
