The three-day Jakarta International Jazz Festival (Jak.Jazz) is a major Indonesian jazz festival. It started in 1988 in Ancol Drive-In and Ancol Dreamland Park ( North Jakarta ), moved to Plaza Timur (East Plaza) Senayan Sport Complex for 1993-1994-1995 festival, and ran until 1997 in Pasar Festival, Kuningan until being relaunched in 2006.

Many foreign musicians from Europe , Australia , Asia , Japan , the USA and South America participated in the November 2006 event. 20 international musicians/groups were performed for the event, including Monday Michiru (Japan/USA/Russia), Shakatak (UK), Phil Perry (USA), Salena Jones (UK), Asian Super Guitar Project ( S. Korea , HongKong , Japan ), Buzz Bros (The Netherlands), and many more. More than 100 Indonesian artists from a range of musical genres also participated. The artists performed on 9 stages inside the Senayan Sports Complex (ISTORA).
