Save Our Sonics, or SOS, is a Seattle activist group that is trying to permanently secure professional basketball in the Seattle area. They were founded in 2006 in reaction to Howard Schultz's sale of the Seattle Supersonics to Clayton Bennett, who had proclaimed only a few months earlier that he and his fellow investors were "100% committed to finding a team for this city in the long term."
