Noel Gallagher
With regards this edit, the webiste actually copied it vertibrem from wikipedia :) Not a big issue, but just so you know --Crestville (talk) 18:23, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

OK computer
The Vinyl master has less compression, also there are bootleg copies of the Vinyl version circulating on Torrent sites for that reason, this is not case with all modern vinyl, Muse vinyl for example is just the CD master with its volume droped to get it onto vinyl, which probably explains why Muse vinyl never stays in print.
I can't find a citation right now, but I could upload a screenshot comparing the two. <font color=#Blue>AJUK </font><small><font color=#008800>Talk!!</small> 00:02, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Radiohead song redirects
Hey, I redirected a bunch of Radiohead songs (pretty much every non-single) back to their albums. Apart from information that was already included in the album articles, the song articles were largely sourced to unreliable sources or completely unsourced, leaving me to believe them to just OR. If you have the time, feel free to check that I haven't redirected any notable songs or any useful info (just look through my contribs), thanks, indopug (talk) 17:54, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Date formatting
Note that there is no need to reformat dates, as you did on Coldplay discography, that are already autoformatted by using the wikilink feature. Whether it's entered as U.S. style (April 16, 2000, or U.K. style (16 April 2000, if you use wikilinking, it will be automatically formatted to the readers's chosen preference for date style. Please see MOS:UNLINKYEARS for more information. Happy editing. --Wolfer68 (talk) 02:55, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

Radiohead
Hi! Nice work with Radiohead (and the albums). I have added your Radiohead articles in finnish in finnish Wikipedia (and they're featured also :)). So, if you make more of these articles (like of Thom Yorke, or something, which may interest me), could you tell me that on my talkpage. --<font color="olive">kallerna</font> 11:25, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Noel Gallagher
Hi. I'm translating the article "Noel Gallagher" to Spanish, and I may need some help to understand several sentences. As I've seen you've widely contributed to that article, I thought it'd be a good idea to ask you to answer the questions I've asked at Talk:Noel Gallagher#Joining Oasis. Thanks. --Pabletex (talk) 19:03, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

Roger Waters
Hello,

I've restored some of the content you deleted from the Roger Waters article regarding his "politics". I believe you made your edits in good faith, and I don't know anything about your personal politics. But your edits have the appearance of a fan who doesn't agree with his views, is embarrassed by them, and feels it makes him look better by removing them as a clean-up action.

Part of the reason it looks this way, is that there have been other recent changes by persons who have made similar edits, clearly because they are uncomfortable with Waters' politics. A user from an anon IP objected to one of the paragraphs you removed, saying "It's pretty clear that Waters' political views have nothing to do with a discussion of his solo work" (referring to the section heading). I restored it with this comment: "then move it to a new section, don't delete it" On another occasion, another anon IP attempted to change another section you later removed, in a way that clearly expressed disapproval.

Personally, I feel that Waters' statements are often over the top. But that's the way he is, and his politics and his ways of expressing himself are key components of his work. His article should state this, and give examples. Anything else is whitewashing.

I acknowledge the importance of making certain that controversial statements attributed to living persons are verifiable. But if they aren't, the next step is to determine whether to address the problem by placing a "citation needed" tag (which was already done on the section in question, and in fact I might have put it there), or doing a Google search to see if a news story can be found to use as a citation. I was able to quickly find numerous sources of citation for both of the claims made in this paragraph. Deleting is only appropriate if the claims are highly doubtful, and it should be obvious that in Waters' case, they are not doubtful at all.

As for the other paragraph which you deleted because it quoted lyrics, it is not true that brief quotes are disallowed on Wikipedia for the purpose of illustrating the point. See Wikipedia:Quotations#Quoting copyrighted text. Your removal of this text for this reason has the appearance of an excuse. I have inserted a sentence that mentions the subject of the lyrics without quoting them, but it would be justified if the quotes were to be restored as well.

Sorry to criticize your editing, but censorship is becoming a problem on this article, and at this point we should be looking very carefully at editors' attempts to sanitize it, instead of contributing to that. --A Knight Who Says Ni (talk) 18:25, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Singles for In Rainbows to GA status
Hi, are you interested in working together to bring the singles for In Rainbows to GA status? I love the album but could use a little help working on them. I'm asking you since it's apparent you are also a fan, considering you brought Radiohead and In Rainbows to FA. Thanks in advance! <font face="Verdana"><font color="#02e">Gary</font>&nbsp;<font color="#02b"><b>King</b></font>&nbsp;(<font color="#02e">talk</font>)</font> 06:54, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
