Chris King is a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representativesm representing the 142nd District since 2007. His district is located in Bucks County.

King grew up in Middletown Township, Bucks County, and still lives in the Langhorne section of the township. King graduated from Neshaminy High School and Millersville University, where he earned a degree in political science and economics. He also earned Post-Baccalaureate Teaching Certification from Millersville.

In 2002, King entered the race for state representative only three months before the general election, as a late replacement for the Democratic candidate who withdrew. Against incumbent Matt Wright, King took 41% of the vote in the loss. [1]
