History

Dominic Luciano, now 15, was born on October 24th, 1992 in Paradise, California, and not long after his birth he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy[1]. This, however, was the primary start of his musical career because he soon learned to play the piano as a form of physical therapy. He has since played for 13 years, and has had two CD releases, and another one coming soon. Aside from these releases, he was named Best High School Jazz Pianist in Oregon in 2006, among other awards and accomplishments. He has also composed a complete Jazz Ensemble score, entitled "You're My Silver Star" for North Medford High School in the late part of 2007 which was later performed in the early part of 2008.

"Furthermore"

Aside from his own solo career, he is also part of the Medford, Oregon Pop Rock group "Furthermore"[2], which in August of 2008 they had a Top 40 ranked song on the OurStage online music charts in the Indie category[3]. The song was entitled "Terminal", and was written by Dominic Luciano. Neurofibromatosis

In April of 2005, Dominic was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis Type 2[4][5][6]. He has since had two brain surgeries, as well as a third one that occurred before he was diagnosed. It is said that the majority of the lyrics he writes are about his struggle with NF2, and that most of his music tells short stories relating to his life.
