GameZombie is a website devoted to video game reviews and information. The name comes from the theme of the site, the zombacalypse (zombie apocalypse). It was the recipient of a 2008 Webby Honoree Award.[1]
History
GameZombie.tv was started by Spencer Striker in May of 2007 while he was a graduate student in Indiana University’s MIME program. [2] To this day it is still based in Bloomington, Indiana. IU even offers a class, “T436: Web Video & The Game Industry”[3] where students work on GameZombie. Around 40 students intern to create the upwards of 150 videos on the site. [4]
