I also picked up whem the gay dad was listening to We Will Rock You, he got into it, and its a very indirect reference that he enjoyed it and also the fact that Freddie Mercury was gay. Coincidence? The Pandamic reference should not be mentioned primarily because it is just a reiteration of the Pandemic episode and it is irrelivant to this episode. However, the reference i have provided, shows that he got into the music, maybe because he's gay and Freddie Mercury was also gay, and finally approved of his son playing basketball. --[[User:J miester25|J miester25]] ([[User talk:J miester25|talk]]) 22:04, 13 November 2008 (UTC)

Scott

So, did Scott win some contest or something? The way he appeared in the episode is highly reminiscent of the kid from the Blaintology episode, and if he did, it would be worth mentioning in the article. Not even Mr. Lister's Koromon survived intact. 05:30, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

High School Musical Box

I removed the "high school musical" box at the bottom of the page, because although it is pertinent to the material, the episode is not a part of the formal set of media that the musical comprises. Rather, this episode is a parody of it. For comparison, there is not box at the bottom of "Do the Handicapped Go to Hell?" enumerating the books of the bible, even though the bible is heavily satirized in that episode. Cultural references

I'm not going add any references, but i think they should be discussed since the entire episode makes fun of High School Musical. Once we have reached an agreement, i think they should be added, but i wont do it, because i dont want to be bitched at for doing so. --J miester25 (talk) 15:38, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, lets discuss then, what references, other than the obvious High School Music series are there? Jay794 (talk) 16:24, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

High School Musical is alread mentioned at the beginning of the plots. If there were any other references, they must have been incredibly subtle, cause I missed them. Mentioning each song is not a good idea, so I'm going to say that right now is probably the best we can get. Grsz11 →Review! 16:55, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The only reference I can think of is when the guys are in the cafeteria and Jimmy asks where have they been, and Clyde replies "Peru", as a reference to the Pandemic episodes. maybe also the songs used during the Basketball game?Jay794 (talk) 17:48, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

--J miester25 (talk) 22:04, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
