"You Found Me"
Song

"You Found Me" is the announced first single off of the upcoming self-titled album of piano-rock band The Fray set to release February 3, 2009. The video was shot with Josh Forbes as the director. Live performances of the song from concerts in Europe surfaced on Youtube in late 2007. [1]The band began streaming the song on their website on November 20th, 2008.[2] The Fray will also be performing "You Found Me" at the American Music Awards on November 23, 2008.[3] There has been no official word on when the video will debut or when the single will be properly released, although the single has been released on the US and Australian iTunes Stores and Amazon MP3. The song is currently only available in the US and Australia, there has been no word on when other countries will get the single.

On November 21 2008, it was confirmed by Sara Cox on BBC Radio 1 that the song will be used to promote the fifth season of Lost.

Lyrics

The song depicts Slade's fictional story of him finding a somewhat lazy God who would not answer Slade's prayers and was ignoring the world's problems. The chorus represents God saving Slade late, but still in time.
