Endicott College is a private, co-educational college located on a 230-acre (0.93 km2) campus in Beverly, Massachusetts, on the North Shore of Massachusetts.

History

Endicott College was founded in 1939 by Eleanor Tupper and her husband, George O. Bierkoe, as a two-year women’s college. The College was issued its first charter by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in that year and graduated its first class in 1941.

In 1944, it was officially approved by the Commonwealth for the granting of Associate in Arts and Associate of Science degrees. In 1952, Endicott was accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

In 1994, the College became co-educational.

Academics

Endicott offers Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Arts, and Bachelor of Science degrees. The College introduced a master's degree in Education in 1996 and, in 2001, a Master of Business Administration was approved.
