Bill Ritter (b. 1950) is a television news anchor currently co-anchors the 6 PM and 11 PM editions of Eyewitness News with Liz Cho on WABC-TV in New York City. He also is a reporter for the ABC News program 20/20. Ritter replaced Bill Beutel on the 11 PM newscast in 1999, and on the 6 PM newscast in 2001. Prior to that he was a weekend anchor from 1998 to 1999 after serving as a co-anchor on ABC's Good Morning America Sunday from 1993 to 1998. During his tenure on Good Morning America Sunday, he filled in for Charles Gibson on Good Morning America.
