Faraliza Tan is a beauty queen who is representing Singapore in Miss World 2008 in South Africa. She has clinched two subsidiary awards during the finals of the national pageant, Miss Body Beautiful and Miss Popularity. She is an undergraduate student in communication studies at Nanyang Technological University. She wants to be a journalist or presenter.
Faraliza has completed her six-month professional internship at MTV Asia, where she helped allocate shows to suitable time-slots, and doubled as an award-presenter during the MTV Asia Awards last month at Genting Highlands. In addition, she has maintained on the dean's list in her faculty for three consecutive years, proving that she is a beauty with brains.
