John Edward Clark is a professor of anthropology at Brigham Young University. He is also the director of the New World Archaeology Foundation. Clark recieved his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.
Clark recieved his bachelors degree in 1976 and his masters degree in 1979 both from Brigham Young University.
Clark has written and lectured extensively on the Book of Mormon and archaelogy. He has also written widely on the Olmecs and their culture.
Among books Clark was involved in writting is Olmec Art and Archaeology in Mesoamerica.[1]
In 2005 Clark was one of the speakers at the wordls of Joseph Smith symposium at the Library of Congress.[2]
Clark is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who accepts the historicity of the Book of Mormon.
