Benington is a village and civil parish in the East Hertfordshire district of Hertfordshire, England, about four miles east of Stevenage. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 922.

It has a popular local tourist attraction in the form of it's manor house, Benington Lordship and Gardens.[1]

The village has an airstrip to the south south west -- Position: N51°52.95 W000°07.37 (please note ppr may be required)
