Cannonballs is an online multiplayer and singleplayer game created by WildTangent. It was discontinued in October 2004. An effort is being made by CaptSmokey6 and his team to resurrect the game and it's multiplayer lobby.

A Description of the game quoted from the game's manual.

<blockquote>
"Cannonballs!TM is an exciting game of action, strategy, and explosives that you can play with your friends! Use devastating weapons on exotic tropical islands to level the ground - and your opponents. Up to 8 players can join in the fray - but the computer provides a tricky opponent as well.

With a unique turn-based play mode, you can dodge and defend yourself while other players are on the attack - use molehills, towers, and teleports to block their shots or zip out of the way!

Nasty weapons like the fearsome x-shot, spikeroller, and dumbfire cost gold to use, but make up for expense in raw firepower!

With colorful environments, exciting play, and an upbeat calypso soundtrack, Cannonballs!TM is a great way to make new friends - and blow them up!"
