A new verison of Truecrypt (version 4.0) has just been released. Will someone update the info on this page?

"No TrueCrypt volume can be identified (TrueCrypt volumes cannot be distinguished from random data)."

I believe this is an incorrect assertion. A TrueCrypt volume is typically a huge file, filled with structured data in a mathematical pattern. If I where looking at siezed media or my hard drive and found an enourmas file in which I could not read any data from, I would suspect it to be encrypted. Pattern analysis would confirm my suspicions.

I agress that TrueCrypt volumes are hard to identify, but I do not agress that "No TrueCrypt volume can be identified".

Let me know how that pattern analysis goes. :)
