A “sand rail” is one of those three-skidded contraptions they use in the middle east, similar to land yacht but with skids (the “rails” themselves) since the wheels will sink in (most) sand. (I know some people like to repeat malicious dis-information, but this one’s ridiculous.) Wrong Name.

A “sand rail” is one of those three-skidded contraptions they use in the middle east, similar to land yacht but with skids (the “rails” themselves) since the wheels will sink in (most) sand.
