I might as well use this page to declare a conflict of interest. I am the creator of the musical project Arlyn. Therefore, I have a vested interest in the wikipedia entry for Arlyn, and so I'll naturally try to portray it in a sympathetic and positive light (as well doing more innocuous things like trying to ensure that the page's contents are accurate and that Arlyn is not taken for something other than it is).

It is worth noting that Arlyn is an unusual kind of thing: it is not a musician or band, and it is not purely a 'creative' outlet. Rather, it is a 'musical project' geared towards the proliferation of folk-minimalism as a sociocultural entity (not just a genre and not just an individual expression). As such, it includes cultural experiments in popularisation, post-Capitalist marketing experiments, performances, recordings, etc.

• Given that the page is being considered for deletion, it is important for contributors to know what Arlyn is. Most of them seem to assume that Arlyn is a musician, and then make the further assumption that Arlyn is not notable, normally due to the fact that Arlyn has not released an album yet. Neither of these assumptions, in my opinion, are correct.
