Deletion watch
I saw your comment on the Zinf AfD nomination. I just noticed today that User:Miami33139 has got the notion to nominate pretty much every single audio software product article for deletion (maybe skipping iTunes and Windows Media Player, at least so far). As near as I can tell, his grounds amount to WP:IDONTLIKEIT inasmuch as the articles themselves, while about notable software, aren't always well cited. In any case, if you felt like looking at his edit history (or mine over the last day, for that matter), and opining on any of those AfD's, I'd definitely value your input. re: Your Message
Hi Aaron, I've left a response to your message on my talk page -- Marek.69 talk 17:07, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
Marek.69 talk has given you a cookie! Cookies promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Spread the WikiLove by giving someone else a cookie, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Happy munching!
Spread the goodness of cookies by adding {{subst:Cookie}} to someone's talk page with a friendly message, or eat this cookie on the giver's talk page with {{subst:munch}}!
Something to help your waistline too, Aaron. ;-) Marek.69 talk 17:28, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
Please remove the commentary from Irap RMS Suite and rewrite as an article, not a discussion page. Who then was a gentleman? (talk) 17:20, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
- No problem. Please be patient, as I have just started on it this morning. Does this mean you don't recommend deletion of this new article? If so, please chime in on that discussion. ;] Aaron Walkhouse (talk) 18:23, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
- I don't have an opinion one way or the other. It's just pretty spammy as written. :) Who then was a gentleman? (talk) 18:28, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
Welcome to ARS!
Hi, Aaron Walkhouse, welcome to the Article Rescue Squadron!
We are a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying and rescuing articles that have been tagged for deletion. Every day hundreds of articles are deleted, many rightfully so. But many concern notable subjects and are poorly written, ergo fixable and should not be deleted. We try to help these articles quickly improve and address the concerns of why they are proposed for deletion. This covers a lot of ground and your help is appreciated!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the talk page, and we will be happy to help you. And once again - Welcome! -- Banjeboi 02:46, 20 March 2009 (UTC) |
