Classification

The music of Finntroll can be considered Fold metal as well as Troll metal. What category in the end ? What would say the band members ? Ukuk 17:54, 24 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Fold metal? Don't you mean folk metal? I kinda think it's folk metal, they kinda invented the 'Troll metal' type --Soyweiser 19:27, 23 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

"Q: Why is Finntroll's lyrics in swedish, and not in *insert language here*?
A: Finntroll's original lyric-writer Katla spoke swedish as his native tongue, and swedish just sounds so damn trollish, so the decision was made. "
As far as I know, I'm quite sure that most of them are Finns, only Routa is another Swede. Just looking at the names should tell you. :) -- towo 13:21, 15 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
