Couldn't have picked a better man to play the boss, Armand Assante. He has the accent and the mannerisms that make him a very interesting boss in cosa nostra movies. His portrayal of Gotti, in the movie Gotti, really hit home, his walk and speaking was great in that movie. Gotti used to walk with a bounce and he interpreted that well. I only wonder how good he did in this movie, and am anticipating it's release date. Even though other actors that play mob leaders are great, such as De Niro, Pacino, etc., Armande has a charisma and style about him that I believe fits the role of a mob boss better then these famous actors. |
