It was around 3:30 pm on the 4th of December 1980 when Ervin G. Batacan came into life on a normal delivery. He was born and raised at Caniogan, Pasig city, Philippines. His parents are Mr. Victor Villaflor Batacan and Mrs. Fe Elena Gervacio Batacan; he has a younger brother named Vincent.

He finished elementary (1986-1993) and secondary education (1993-1997) at Pasig Catholic College, and graduated BFA Major in Industrial Design at University of the Philippines, Diliman (1997-2001). Initially after graduating college, he worked as a freelance Product Designer/Consultant at (APFTI) Advocate of Philippine Fair Trade, Inc. (July 2001-July 2003/January 2004-May 2006.) Became a part of the Consolidated Creative Resources as a Managing Associate (January 2003-January 2004.)

A professional member of the National Council of Industrial Designers of the Philippines (2003), and 10-29 Designers for Fair Trade (2004.) He also worked as OIC/Design Department & Jewelry Designer at CJ Jewellers Corporation (July 2003-January 2004), and as a Graphic Artist at Dinsmor (May 2006-January 2007). Currently, he works as a Graphic Designer / Visual Merchandiser at Triumph International (Philippines) Inc.

Ervin got married to a loving wife Irish Rosselle on the 9th of June 2005; and was blessed with a good son named Ethan.

A Design practitioner since 2001, experience in Product Design (Houseware & Home Décor) as well as Graphic Design and Exhibit Displays. I have worked closely with various product manufacturers and exporters throughout the Philippines. My goal is to introduce new ideas to the market with the common tool called DESIGN.
