The Jesusita Fire is an ongoing wildfire that began on May 5th, 2009 in the hills of Santa Barbara, California. The current number of homes burned is approximately 75. The fire is primarily in the hills behind the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden, in the Mission Canyon area. Due to intense "Sundowner" wind, the fire has moved west toward Highway 154.
