Ok, [[Bleach]] is not hardcore punk. It has very strong influences, like production (taken from [[Black Flag]]'s ''[[My War]]''), but that doesn't mean it is a hardcore punk band. Definitely, ''Negative Creep'' and ''Downer'' are pure punk, but they are more precisely defined as [[Grunge]] or [[Indie rock]]. Its better to put the genre that defines them most precisely than to put one that only occasionly applies to them. You wouldn't consider ''About a Girl'' as punk, would you. I know what you think, I sometimes define them as H.P. but it's not precise.

Ok, Bleach is not hardcore punk. It has very strong influences, like production (taken directly from Black Flag's My War), but that doesn't mean it is a hardcore punk band. Definitely, Negative Creep and Downer are pure punk, but they are more precisely defined as Grunge or Indie rock. Its better to put the genre that defines them most precisely than to put one that only occasionly applies to them. You wouldn't consider About a Girl as punk, would you. I know what you think, I sometimes define them as H.P. but it's not precise.
