The Rainier Beach Station will be a Sound Transit Central Link light rail station in the Rainier Valley area of Seattle. It is an at-grade, or surface, station.
Location
The station is on Martin Luther King Jr. Way South at South Henderson Street. It is in the Rainier Beach neighborhood of Seattle. The station is about ½ mile from Rainier Beach High School and Seward Park.
Other features
The station will be open air, in the median on Martin Luther King Jr. Way South. It will have many amenities, including public art, bicycle racks, seating, and landscaping. 2000 daily boardings are projected for 2020.
