John A. Cloud is a current ambassador of the United States of America in the Republic of Lithuania.
He has completed bachelor studies in University of Connecticut in 1975, and a Masters in International Affairs in George Washington University in 1977. From February 28, 2005 to September 2, 2005 he was a US ambassador to Germany ad interim. He was sworn in July 18, 2006.[1]
He has a wife Mary Elizabeth and 2 children.[2][3]
