Eric Dill is an independent artist, and the original lead singer of The Click Five.[1] Along with Chris Daughtry, Chad Kroeger from the band Nickelback, and Danish songwriter/producer Rune Westberg, Eric Dill wrote the song No Surprise, the first single on Daughtry's forthcoming album, "Leave This Town." [2][3] Chris Daughtry performed the song live for the first time on American Idol on Wednesday, May 6, 2009. According to one published report, "A Grammy nomination next year [for "No Surprise"] would not be a surprise."[4]

Eric Dill is the singer of Just the Girl, a song written by Adam Schlesinger, and recorded and performed by The Click Five. It reached #11 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The song was released on August 16, 2005.

He starred in the movie Taking Five, released in 2007. It premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on Saturday, April 28, 2007. The movie aired on ABC Family on Sunday, May 3, 2009.

Eric Dill appeared on Season 7, Episode 8 of the MTV show Punk'd, hosted by Ashton Kutcher.[5]
