"Goodbye" is the debut single of American R&B singer, Kristinia DeBarge. It was released to US iTunes on April 7, 2009 and to US pop radio on April 28, 2009. The song has already been added to Z100 along with many other big pop stations. It samples the song "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye" by Steam.

Reviews
Chris Williams of Billboard gives a very positive review commenting on her pleasant tonality:
Kristinia DeBarge christens co-producer Babyface's new label with a pop/R&B nugget that is clearly aiming for Rihanna's audience. DeBarge has a pleasant tonality to her voice, and coupled here with the catchy, if well-worn, hook from Steam's hit "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye," makes for a potent combo. With the same photogenic qualities as Rihanna and the branding of the single with the now-airing Nivea campaign, this could be the start of a promising career. Her Babyface-produced debut album arrives this summer.
Bill Lamb of About.com gave DeBarge's "Goodbye" 2.5 out of 5 stars commenting on her pleasant voice and "ultra-familiar Steam "Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye" hook" but disregards her Rihanna-esque vocal moves, saying it only make Kristinia DeBarge sound faceless, the martial beat beginning to thud by song's end and an unimaginative use of the classic hook.[3] Overall, he thinks that she deserves a better effort. Charts
The single slowly started to gain airplay on the pop format of U.S. radio in early April and continued to slowly grow until mid-April when a Z100 add sent the song shooting up in airplay with digital sales soon following behind it. The song debuted at number 75 on the Billboard Hot 100 on April 30, 2009. It peaked at 20.[4]
