Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 is a golfing simulation video game in the Tiger Woods PGA Tour series developed by EA Tiburon and published by Electronic Arts. It was released in North America on June 8, 2009 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Wii and PlayStation Portable home and portable consoles. [2] It has also been announced for the iPhone OS in a possible separate release date.[3][4]

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2010 features the U.S. Open, the USGA Championship and the USGA's Rules of Golf for the first time in the franchise's history.[5]. Club Distances this year have been reduced by 40 yards from 09 and your driver will say a maximum possible distance of 325 yards. [6] The player also is able to set "Powercapping" online. The Weather Channel provides dynamic weather data for the game.[7]. The new "Tournament Challenge" mode allows players to replicate famous shots and moments from the PGA Tour's history.[8]

Online, there is a change in the way Daily Tournaments are played. This year users will be asked after a round whether they want to post their score and if they don't they can just try again from the 1st hole. There is a new feature this year called "Play the Pros". [9] Users online are able to post their scores against the actual real life PGA Leaderboards and to make it even more realistic they can play in Tour Pro mode. EA Sports will also be delivering 4 round weekly tournaments, the user will be able to choose whether to play all rounds in the same day or play a round but only having 1 go at it. There is also a 60 second shot clock available in ranked and unranked matchups.[10]

There are several new courses available for this version of the game, including Bethpage Black, Pinehurst (Course 2), Torrey Pines, Oakmont, and Hazeltine National, with all those listed courses having hosted major championships before.

The Wii version of the game features support for the Wii MotionPlus, allowing for a more authentic sports motion to the golf swing, including the ability to draw and fade.[11] In Europe and North America, the Wii version is available in a bundle with a Wii MotionPlus accessory for limited time at launch.[12] Along with the use of the Wii MotionPlus there is a Disc Golf option in the game as well that adds a new mode to the game.

A feature of the 'practice swing' has been announced, where the player may step away from his ball to try a few swings.[13]
