"Hello It's Me"
Song

"Hello It's Me" is a 1972 song by Todd Rundgren from his album Something/Anything? and his band Nazz's self-titled debut album. Rundgren's re-recorded solo version became his only major pop hit, and reached #5 on the Billboard Hot 100. Rundgren had expected "I Saw the Light" to be the big hit from the album.

In the media

  • In the 1998 ending to the pilot series of the FOX sitcom That 70s Show, Eric and the gang joyfully sing this in the car while on their way to a Todd Rundgren concert. The clip was used as the ending to the show's series finale as well.
  • The single is being used in a 2009 Tums advert.

Other versions

"Hello It's Me" is a classic ballad from The Isley Brothers 1974 album Live It Up.[1]
