This is a favorite game of older siblings to play on younger siblings. There are many ways to build up this game such as shuffling the cards several times and telling the other person to look closely for the card trick. Cards can be thrown up in the air or thrown out sideways to the floor. After the cards are on the floor, shout "Ok pick 'em up!".

In Eastern Europe, a professional 52 card pick-up world championship takes place every year, drawing talented ‘club packers’ from around the world. Current world champion, Texas ‘Tex’ O’Reilly is famed for his signature move of scooping cards up with his Stetson hat. This has lead to controversy among purists of the game, who claim the art of pick-up lies within the ability to use ones hands (or card mitts to use correct terminology). Some pros are able to pick up two, even three cards at once, showing considerable skills by picking up the cards with one hand, and placing them in a make shift ‘stack’ or ‘pile’ in their other.

The game is believed to have originated in ancient Greece, where some bearded pseudo philosopher saw all the atoms of the universe and the emotions of Zeus whilst picking up a deck of porno playing cards he had dropped in a fit of self abuse earlier in the day. Some however trace the game back further, when clever Velociraptos would drop 52 cards near a T-rex, then laugh as he tried to pick them up with his silly arms. However, T-rex surprised the Velociraptors by crushing them dead with his massive jaw.

Famous women in 52 card pick-up include female grandmaster Clubella Foot. She has recently courted controversy by appearing in ‘accounting systematically’ in various states of undress, or nudity as it's also known. She appeared with only playing cards covering her ‘Nipples’ and ‘Lady Garden’, apparently the use of playing cards was linked with her chosen profession, though scholars are still searching for this tenuous link. Coincidently, It took 52 playing cards to completely protect her modestly, given her large frame and humungous nipples.

52 Pickup (or 52 Card Pickup) is a practical joke disguised as a card game. The first player asks the second player if he or she would like to play "52 Pickup" and if the second player agrees, the first throws the entire deck of playing cards onto the floor. The second player, who must be new to the game to fall for this practical joke, is then instructed to pick up all the cards, upon which the game ends.
