The Madrasa was originally founded by Hujjattul Islam Maulana Syed Mohd, (author of the popular book "Shariatul Islam", translated as "Islam in the Light of Shiism") son of [[Najmul Millat]]. He died at a very young age of 32 years. After his demise [[Najmul Millat]] suggested Maharaja Sir Mohammad Ali Mohammad Khan of Mahmudabad to help give the Madrasa a permanent face and recognition. And so it was formally established by Sir Mohammad Ali in memory of his younger brother Rajkumar Mohammad Ali Ahmad Khan and Maulana Syed Mohammad. In 1919 by way of a registered 'waqfnama' it was integrated into the Waqf-e Ahmadiya of Mahmudabad. It is also funded by the [[Raja]] of [[Mahmudabad]].

Madrasatul Waizeen is a centre of Shia Islamic education in the city of Lucknow, India.

The Madrasa was originally founded by Maharaja Mohammad Ali Mohammad Khan of Mahmudabad in memory of his younger brother Rajkumar Mohammad Ali Ahmad Khan. In 1919 by way of a registered 'waqfnama' it was integrated into the Waqf-e Ahmadiya of Mahmudabad. It is still currently funded by the Raja of Mahmudabad.
